Crypto profit calculator
Enter what you paid and what you sold (or might sell) for. We work out profit, return on investment and the price you need just to break even after fees.
How profit is calculated
Your buy fee comes out first, so $1,000 with a 1% fee buys $990 worth of coins. When you sell, the sell fee comes out of the proceeds. Profit is what you receive minus the $1,000 you spent.
The break-even price is the sell price at which you get back exactly what you put in, after both fees. With 1% on each side, a coin has to rise about 2% before you're ahead.
Fees add up faster than you think
Round trips on high-fee platforms can cost 3% to 8% in total. If you trade often, look at the advanced trading screens on Kraken or Coinbase, where fees are a fraction of the one-tap buy price.
